Allow us to introduce DJ and producer Netrom – a resident DJ and owner of Dropzone Recordings. Since 2019 he has also been the driving force behind Profound Studio in Tallinn. Netrom’s journey in music started in his childhood, attending concerts with his father, who was a guitarist. Music has always been a source of freedom and solace for him, a means to experience emotions that were hard to find elsewhere, especially during challenging times. His musical taste has evolved through various genres, from punk to rap, but it was drum and bass that finally captured his heart. Netrom believes that bass music opens up different worlds and dimensions, offering a unique and exhilarating experience. He describes it as love at first drop. Since 2006, Netrom has been deeply immersed in the drum and bass genre, and for the past three years, he has focused on producing himself. His journey wasn’t without challenges; he began with minimal equipment, but he never gave up. He continued to educate himself, taking courses and music lessons, and his home studio gradually expanded. Netrom draws inspiration from different artists, each of whom offers something special, whether it’s a mind-bending harmonic progression, unique sound effects, or overall completeness. His music is characterized by groovy compositions that can be deep and aggressive or transport the listener to dreamy atmospheres. Netrom’s primary goal is to share the indescribable feeling that music evokes, taking listeners on an inner journey to discover their inner freedom and enjoy captivating rhythms.
